Version 5.1 introduces the first Pulse AI assistant, a rebuilt Forms Studio, workflow improvements, and a range of usability and reliability fixes.

Pulse (AI Assistant)
Pulse is a built-in AI assistant that helps you find answers from your documents quickly.
Key features
Simple chat interface — ask plain-English questions and get clear answers.
Flexible scope — focus chat on a specific document or folder, or clear focus to search across all content.
Smart suggestions — get 4 helpful follow-up prompts based on the conversation.
Answers with context — responses include links to relevant document(s) so you can jump straight in.
Your control — view and delete previous chats at any time.
Permission-aware — Pulse only returns information from content you can access.
Forms Studio — Foundations (Rework)
Forms Studio has been fully refreshed to make creating and automating forms faster and easier.
New workspace layout
Forms Studio now includes four tabs:
Builder — drag and drop fields and sections to design your form.
Actions — connect fields to automations like reminders and lookups using a visual canvas.
Preview — see how your form will look as you build.
Schema — read-only view for admins to check structure.

Easier configuration via Inspector panels
Set up actions with guided panels, including:

The Actions tab brings the palette, graph, and inspector together for a smoother setup flow.
Better Filling & Indexing
Improved text targeting for indexing — you can now pick text directly on a PDF to fill an index field (ideal for fast, accurate capture).
Built-in lookups and rules help auto-fill, validate, and format values as you work.
Form Automations & Notifications
Add email notifications or reminders based on index or system dates, including simple timing like:
“X days/weeks/months before”
You can now add a data source to an existing Index field (no rebuild required).
Safety Nets While Editing
Clear Save / Discard flow with prompts when there are unsaved changes.
Watch Folders
Create and manage Watch Folders in Admin.
Incoming files can be automatically classified to the correct form.

Workflow dashboard status numbers and list items now reflect the correct documents the user has access to
Fixed an issue where workflows sometimes didn’t move documents to the next folder
Version viewer now shows the correct document when viewing older versions
Large-file OCR failures in Smart Capture resolved
Batch indexing no longer closes the index window after sending a workflow
Total document count is accurate in Search and main search pagination
Errors in workflow notifications resolved
Restoring a previous version now respects the correct permissions
Closing a document tab reliably returns you to the dashboard
Resolved thumbnail cache issues so previews stay up-to-date
